ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

  • The festival will take place  at Union Française de Montréal (429, rue Viger Est, Montréal, QC H2L 2N9).
  • The front entrance has a eleven steps. A step-free accessible entrance is located at the back of the building.
  • We’ll have clear signage marked “Entrée accessible” to guide you. Our team will be available to assist if needed.
  • Inside, all areas are wheelchair accessible, including the washrooms. Washrooms are also gender-neutral.
  • Reserved wheelchair spaces and companion seating will be available.
  • Venue chairs are standard conference-style and may not be comfortable for everyone. If you require an ergonomic chair or flexible seating (e.g., additional space for mobility aids, a seat that allows you to stand/stretch, or seating adjustments for comfort), please contact claire@exposuresmtl.com in advance.
  • Aisles will be kept clear to ensure easy passage.
  • Paid parking is available at the back of the venue.
  • A drop-off zone is located next to the accessible entrance.
  • All films will include subtitles in French or English.
  • Workshops will mostly be bilingual (French and English) unless otherwise specified.
  • Some films may include strobe or flashing lights; these will be announced beforehand.
  • Content warnings will be provided before screenings.
  • A sanctuary space offering a low-sensory environment will be available next to the screening room. This space, equipped with earplugs, dim lighting, and cozy seating, will be clearly marked, It will remain open throughout the festival for anyone needing a break during or between films.
  • Sound levels in screenings will be set at standard cinema volume.
  • The sanctuary space will function as a quiet room.
  • Masks are not mandatory but strongly recommended.

Ticketing

We offer three types of tickets: single admission (13$), 4 screening pack (44$) or a festival pass (99$). See the full details here.

As we are a small festival with very limited funding, we cannot offer refunds but may accept exchanges.

Yes, there will be some tickets availableat the venue, but we highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment, as events may sell out.

Food & Drink

A bar will be open on site serving wine, beer, soft drinks, popcorn, and crisps.  

Coffee will be available in the mornings, thanks to the lovely team at Cafe Velour!  

There is no hot food available at the venue, so please bring your own meals or order delivery throughout the day.
